Chair Exercises: Strength and Tone

This gentle seated exercise class is great for those who are just starting an exercise regimen, but need the safety of a chair.

Using exercise bands and accessible exercise options that can improve strength, cardiovascular health, mobility and balance, participants will strengthen and tone both upper and lower body muscle groups for improved health and fitness in this low-level fitness class. This class is an excellent choice for anyone with balance or mobility issues or those who haven’t maintained an exercise routine over the years and are battling the effects of chronic pain or disability due to injury or health conditions.

Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on the Wellness Center Patio – rain or shine! Purchase a punch card and come to any class that fits your schedule. Punch cards valid until Aug. 31, 2022. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required.
