Summit Pacific’s Mark Reed Healthcare Clinic will be making the move from the outdated hospital building on Birch Street and Tom Huttula, owner of Elma HealthMart Pharmacy, will be opening a new location to be called McCleary HealthMart Pharmacy.

“We are excited to join Summit Pacific in bringing this brand new, beautiful building to downtown McCleary,” Tom Huttula, Owner and Pharmacist at Elma HealthMart Pharmacy shared, “But more importantly, we look forward to providing McCleary with a community pharmacy that they can easily visit to get their medications, and any needed medical supplies and equipment at.”

“Tom and the Elma Pharmacy have been a great community partner since Summit Pacific’s opening,” shared Renee Jensen, CEO of Summit Pacific Medical Center. “As we have grown and expanded service lines, Tom has made adjustments to the pharmacy’s operations necessary to support those new services and increased patient needs. To open a whole new location though, is true dedication to doing what is best for this community. We are looking forward to being their neighbor.”

Each business will have its own space and separate entrances in the new building, slated to be completed this coming spring 2016. The new pharmacy will open Monday thru Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be one full-time pharmacist on staff, and the McCleary location will be hiring support staff. Up to six healthcare providers will be able to care for patients out of the 6,000 square foot healthcare clinic, which will also be providing Monday through Friday appointments upon opening.

The new downtown facility is located near public transportation and major freeway systems, providing ease of access for patients, employees and visitors. A “Sneak Peek Preview” of the new facility is tentatively scheduled for the 2nd week of March 2016. The public will be invited to tour and learn more about both the clinic and the pharmacy.
