A crane is on site to assist steel workers in building the structure of the wellness center. The erection of structural steelwork consists of the assembly of steel components into a frame on site. The crane assists in lifting and placing components into position, then steelworkers connect them together through bolting and also some welding. The ability to construct the frame safely, quickly and economically was influenced significantly by early decisions made during the design period. The frame is expected to take just under three weeks to erect. Below are some photos that took place during the process.
