The appearance of patient invoices will change with the new EHR.
Anyone that had a date of service 12/31/16 or before will receive a bill that is the older format. In addition, patients set up on payment plans prior to 12/31/16 will also keep their payment plans from the prior system.
If you have a balance on your account with our prior system that insurance has not paid or a balance on which you are making payments, you will possibly have two separate bills. One from our old system and one from our new system. They are two separate bills meaning that both will need to be paid or payment arrangements made for both.
