Summit Pacific Medical Center

Through the sacrifices of my parents, I received a solid education. They instilled values of integrity, respect and a strong work ethic. I am committed to give back to the communities that support my paycheck. I have worked eight years in wood products and raw materials and 45 years in healthcare finance and administration. I received the first Chief Financial Officer Lifetime Leadership Award from the Puget Sound Business Journal. I helped the financial turnaround of Mark Reed Hospital to build a new hospital in Elma. I have broad involvement and leadership roles with the Grays Harbor Clothing Bank, St. Mary School Funding Committee and Columbus Park. I am competitive in golf, fantasy football, NASCAR and Duplicate Bridge. I have also acted on stage and in Civil War Reenacting. I enjoy my family and grandchildren.

Some of my hobbies include hiking, camping, hunting and boating.

CallicoatWill Callicoat, Foundation Treasurer

CFO of Summit Pacific Medical Center, Ex Officio

Will Callicoat joined Summit Pacific in the summer of 2011. He had previously spent 10 years in financial management at a variety of healthcare institutions, including serving the Washington State Hospital Association (WSHA) as Director of Financial Policy and Providence Health and Services as their Regional Director of Healthcare Policy. While with WSHA, Will spent time advocating the state legislature and state agencies for improved Medicaid payments and other policy and budget priorities. At Providence, he supported 10 hospitals, 4 skilled nursing facilities, and primary care physicians throughout Washington and Montana — developing their regulatory affairs, strategic positions for certificate of need projects, and business plans associated with capital expansions. After meeting with the District’s leadership team in 2011, Will knew that he wanted to join our team of passionate, visionaries. He could not wait to work at an organization where he would experience first-hand the positive impact Summit Pacific has on the community, and looked forward to being able to interact with the patients we serve. Ultimately, Will strives to find ways for Summit Pacific to bring new services to East Grays Harbor, and in a way that maintains affordable care. He is working to build upon the partnerships formed with other public hospitals through the Washington Rural Health Collaborative so that we can all work together to bring our communities new and affordable services.
