Laurie Burkhart is a Western Washington native, having grown up in Sumner, WA. She holds both Master’s and Bachelor’s of Science degrees in Physical Therapy through the University of Puget Sound. For nine years she was the owner and leading therapist at Gravelly Lake Physical Therapy in Lakewood, WA.

Growing up on a dairy farm outside of Sumner, Laurie gained a passion for rural communities. She loves working with the elderly population – especially when it comes to helping them become more active.

Laurie is presently married and has seven children. She loves to play piano for her local church and leads the choir. She also co-teaches two children’s choirs at a homeschool coop and serves as an Algebra instructor. She enjoys camping with family, gardening, and music.
