Summit Pacific offers outpatient behavioral health services, which are fully integrated into the primary care clinic. We offer both therapy and medication management. Mental and physical health are directly connected, and both must be addressed to improve overall health. Asking for help can be scary, but trained and compassionate therapists are here to help you on your journey.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Your first session is an intake assessment. Your behavioral health provider will ask you questions about your life and history. You and your provider will develop a treatment plan together that works best for you.
Treatment plans are individualized to meet your goals. Most people meet with their therapist every 1-2 weeks for 30 to 60 minutes. If medication is part of your treatment plan, you and your provider will determine how often you will meet.
Therapy can enhance one’s life in many different ways. People don’t have to be struggling severely to participate in therapy. In fact, many types of people participate.
Whether you live with an ongoing mental illness or are simply in need of additional support, therapy can help you develop coping strategies, improve communication skills, address addiction issues, process traumatic events, improve self-esteem and deal with many other life concerns.
