What you’ll learn:
• What prevention really means and why it matters
• Who plays a role in prevention in our community
• How prevention strategies support youth and young adults
Why this matters:
Prevention strengthens communities, protects youth and young adults, and helps reduce costly care in the long run. Whether you’re a parent, caregiver, teacher, coach, or other trusted adult, you play an important role in preventing substance use disorder and promoting healthy outcomes for young people.
This presentation will also highlight youth trends, challenges, and support systems in East Grays Harbor, along with practical ways community members can make a positive impact.
