Laura Brownsmith, originally from Shelton, Washington, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pacific Lutheran University in 2002. After 19 years as a labor and delivery nurse, she returned to PLU to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Family Practice in 2021.
