About Shawn Andrews
Dr. Andrews was born and raised in rural Wahkiakum County before attending Seattle Pacific University. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1994. She then moved to Olympia, WA to begin her family medicine residency with the St. Peter Family Medicine Residency Program, graduating in 1997.
Dr. Andrews has been practicing family medicine and providing obstetrics in Elma since 1997. She has been adjunct faculty with St. Peter Family Medicine since 1997 and has also hosted Family Medicine residents and students for rotations in Elma throughout her time in Elma. Dr. Andrews enjoys all aspects of primary care, especially long-term continuity relationships with patients, treating the whole family and making care accessible to everyone, especially those who feel estranged from the healthcare system.
Outside of the office, Dr. Andrews enjoys time with family (including lots of animals), gardening, cooking, crafting, SCUBA diving, and jigsaw puzzles.
