The Providence St. Peter-Summit Pacific Rural Family Medicine Residency Program offers several rotations for students from allopathic and osteopathic medical schools.
Clerkships
We host 3rd year medical students for their core Family Medicine rotations from local medical schools, especially for students interested in rural medicine. This includes Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences, WSU’s Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine and University of Washington.
Sub-Internships and Electives
An advanced rotation of 2-4 weeks duration for those who wish to expand their skills in rural medicine is available for fourth-year students interested in family medicine.
The rotation can be tailored to your needs as you work with our residents in the hospital, the office, or a mixture of the two. We welcome your participation in all aspects of the program during your time with us.
If you are interested in rotating with us, please contact our Graduate Students Department to inquire about details and availability.
