Debbrah Bergeron, MD
Family Medicine
Dr. Bergeron is from San Diego, California and attended medical school at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Sint Maarten. She specializes in Family Medicine. Having grown up in an underserved area she feels a strong kinship with underserved and rural communities and looks forward to providing care to the greater Grays Harbor area for years to come. In her free time, she enjoys camping, traveling and listening to live music.
Mariel Chan, MD
Family Medicine
Dr. Chan was born and raised in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. She would obtain her Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology from McGill University and her Doctor of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Sint Maarten. While studying in the Caribbean she created a partnership between her medical school and a local soup kitchen by leading volunteers to help deliver and serve warm meals to members of the community. Her time spent with those who have limited resources inspired her to become a family medicine physician with a focus on obstetrics.
In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family. She has a passion for staying fit by weightlifting or hiking the wilderness with her dog Preston.
Mackie Chan, MD
Family Medicine
Dr. Chan was born in Hong Kong and has spent her last decade in Western Washington. She believes in whole-person health and enjoys working with her patients in holistic approach. She is excited to bring her passion for rural medicine to Grays Harbor County.
Dr. Chan appreciates mentally stimulating activities such as board games, puzzles, team obstacle courses and escape rooms. She enjoys singing, reading, meditating, playing video games, cooking different cuisine, baking, gardening and home improvement projects. She is a dog lover.
Bethany Healey, MD
Family Medicine
Dr. Healey was born and raised in Lake Country, British Columbia. While in medical school, she served as a senior member of the doctoral program teaching hematology to second and third-year medical students.
She is passionate about community service and providing quality care to underserved populations. Dr. Healey enjoys horseback riding and rode competitively three day eventing throughout Canada and the USA. In the winter, she is an avid downhill and backcountry skier and spends the spring and summer downhill mountain biking, surfing, hiking, and playing tennis. She has an interest in music and plays the acoustic guitar.
Adam McLeod, MD
Family Medicine
Dr. McLeod was born in British Columbia and is excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest to provide care for patients at Summit Pacific. Prior to entering medical school, he practiced as a Naturopathic Physician and his practice focused on integrative cancer care. His unique path to medical school gives a balanced perspective on integrative medicine. As a Family medicine resident, he is committed to practicing evidence-based medicine to help improve the health of his patients and the community.
Dr. McLeod enjoys spending time with his wife and children. In his spare time, he likes to explore the outdoors and train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Harish Sharma, MD
Family Medicine
Dr. Sharma was born in India and completed his education in the US and Canada. Prior to attending medical school, he spent numerous years doing medical research and presenting his work at national and international conferences. His research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. Harish is actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students, and post-doctoral fellows and is passionate about rural medicine.
He understands the challenges of providing quality care in a resource-limited setting and hopes to provide evidence-based high quality medical care to under-served populations. He is deeply invested in giving back to the community and feels that being a rural family physician will be a rewarding and fulfilling career path.
In his free time, he likes listening to music and cooking as well as hiking and exploring nature.
