First time I've felt listened to by a doctor and not gaslit. Very important distinction considering my cataclysmic background with medical staff in the past.

I nominate the doctor for doctor of the year as well the nurse for nurse of the year. They both are professional and dedicated to their profession.
I have always recommended Dr.Hartung to others. This visit just seemed off. He was going to discuss my sugar A1C and I understand the need for the discussion ;However, I needed to discuss my mental health . So the appointment went a different direction for me. He referred me to the GI Clinic because I have a pouch in my throat. I have already been evaluated at the Providence Speech Therapy. Dr. Hartung wants me taught how to swallow..I do fine swallowing just Not large pills. He has brought up a colonoscopy again. In my last one the doctor told me to come back in 3 years. In 2027 I will plan on that. Dr.Hartung is a wonderful doctor. However, yesterday I didn't feel heard.
