Dr. Ayan Rage brings over 15 years of extensive experience and dedication to her role as the Associate Medical Director of Gastroenterology at Summit Pacific. Board-certified in both gastroenterology and internal medicine, Dr. Rage earned her medical degree from Saba University in the Netherlands Antilles in 2009. She completed her internal medicine residency at Case Western Reserve/MetroHealth in 2012, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2015.

Throughout her career, Dr. Rage has been committed to promoting health through early detection and education. Her areas of expertise include the management of inflammatory bowel disease and colon cancer screening, with a particular passion for raising awareness about colon cancer prevention and ensuring adherence to critical screening protocols.

Dr. Rage has also served as the Medical Director of Health Equity at Essentia Health, where she led initiatives aimed at improving healthcare access and outcomes for diverse communities. Additionally, she contributes to the advancement of medical education by lecturing on inflammatory bowel disease to medical students at the University of Minnesota, Duluth.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr. Rage maintains an active and balanced lifestyle, finding joy in hiking, swimming, working out, and travelling. As a dedicated mother, she is also deeply involved in her children’s extracurricular activities.
