Josh Martin
Chief Executive Officer
Josh Martin joined Summit Pacific Medical Center in 2016, bringing over 20 years of healthcare experience across large systems and rural hospitals. He holds an MBA with a healthcare focus and a BS in Business Administration from Northwest Nazarene University, with certifications in Lean Process Improvement and Social Marketing.
Tori Bernier
Chief Nursing Officer
Tori Whiting brings over 38 years of healthcare experience to Summit Pacific, starting her career as a Certified Nurse’s Aide in 1982. She has led improvements in quality, safety, emergency preparedness, and population health in both critical access hospitals and large systems. Tori is passionate about nursing, especially in rural communities, and values the contributions nurses bring to healthcare.
Jennifer Burkhardt, JD
Chief Talent and Legal Officer
Jennifer has over 25 years of legal and human resources experience, including 13 years in healthcare. She began her career in private law practice at Karr Tuttle Campbell, where she was a partner for 11 years before transitioning into healthcare. Jennifer’s expertise spans legal, HR, patient experience, marketing, compliance, and risk management. She has a proven track record in labor negotiations and initiatives that improve employee engagement and patient experience.
Winfried Danke
Chief Operating Officer
Winfried Danke brings over 20 years of executive leadership experience in healthcare systems, health plans, and community organizations. Before joining Summit Pacific, he served as VP of Enterprise Strategy for Premera Blue Cross, leading strategy for Washington, Alaska, and national accounts. His previous roles include overseeing strategy and service lines at Providence Health & Services and leading CHOICE Regional Health Network, where he focused on improving population health.
Ken Dietrich, MD
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Ken Dietrich brings over 34 years of experience in medicine and healthcare leadership to Summit Pacific Medical Center. Before becoming CMO, he spent time in SPMC’s Emergency Department and is passionate about serving the underserved Grays Harbor community. His focus includes evaluating systems, developing services, and supporting providers in delivering high-quality care.

Your expertise in negotiation, coaching, and interpersonal skills, combined with your commitment to integrity and excellence, will elevate the organization’s impact.
